Today we sent 200 blankets and 50 pieces of clothing to Madigan Army Medical Center at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Tacoma Washington. Why you ask? To celebrate Virginia Dean, one of Keith’s amazing nurses who now works out there taking care of the children of our men and women in the Armed Forces. She was from Plain City and also attended the same high school as Aaron’s dad in Stuttgart, Germany, both as Army brats! All of this on the 5 year anniversary of Keith’s Great-Grandpa passing, a Lt Col in the US Army. Included in this donation are hand made blankets by Keith’s great aunt, Ann Lewis. We love this donation for so many reasons!!!
